Gung Ho housing co-op is still going strong.
However we have a new website hosted by the Worker Co-op Autonomic.
See the new site: https://gungho.org.uk/
This is where we will be posting updates etc. In order If you want to contact us you can now email us: hello at gungho dot org dot uk
Just add in the @ and .org.uk as described. This is to avoid getting spam emails.
If we wanted to automatically redirect people to the new site, we’d have to pay WordPress.com 12 dollars a year. So we’ll leave it as it is for now and hope folks find the new site via this post.
Gung Ho crew
After over a decade of combined years in the house, two of our members are preparing to leave Gungho. So we are opening up our recruitment process once again and would love to hear from individuals or couples who are interested in joining our lovely house.
Have a read of our “About Us” page to find out what we’re about and what being a member entails. Because we’re managing assets held in common and are active members of the cooperative movement we need members who are also committed and enthusiastic about sustaining and developing co-operation locally and beyond.
Move-in dates are negotiable, but between September and December is roughly what we think – but get in touch whatever your circumstances for a chat.
Emails us on brumcoop[at]gmail.com to find out more!
We have now filled our vacancy. Thanks to everyone who got in touch with us, it was good to meet some interesting new people, and for anyone who is still interested in living in a housing co-operative please do let us know. We’re happy to give advice on how to set up your own co-op, or to point you in the directions of co-ops we know which have places.
Gung Ho is a co-op of five living in Selly Park, Birmingham. We are members of a UK wide federation of co-operatives called Radical Routes. To read more about our co-op please go to the about page.
